5A creatively designed work of art.  Mar 22, 2010
Trigun in an inventively designed anime revolving around a character known as Vash the Stampede. Vash the Stampede is an has a quirky, clumsy personality, yet seems as if to have an alternate ego, in tight situations. Vash has gained a reputation as a highly dangerous man, known to have destroyed the fictional city of July, where he infact destroyed it completely on accident, in rage against his brother Knives, who really is the dangerous one, and is really an innocent person, out to help all, from which his "catch phrase"(for lack of better words) "love, and peace" comes from. To give a basic overall summary of the plot, two girls from Bernardelli Insurance Company are hired to follow Vash around, and keep him out of trouble's way. Vash is a traveler, heading toward his goal, which is revealed towards the end of the series. As he travels, trouble always seems to follow him, usually coincidentally, yet it always is blamed on him, and doesn't help the fact that everyone already considers him hostile. Although it usually isn't his fault, Vash always solves the situation, and most importantly, always in a non lethal matter. Overall a great show, and I HIGHLY recommend you invest in it.

5steel-case trigun set 1  Jan 27, 2010
well, i don't think there is much to say here, other than with this set, make sure you are specific in what you want included. besides the three dvds, each in a small plastic case, with reversable insert, there is supposed to be a bullet necklace, if i understand correctly. my set did not include -any- extras, and i am sure this is not as it was before originally opened. i am not torn about this, so i would say i'm satisfied, at this point. i think any Trigun fan would want this nice steel-case set(1 of 2), i know i feel good about it, as it is nice looking, and heavy, giving it the "important feel" i think it deserves.

5I love this series, I only wish they continued it.  Sep 09, 2009
Let me just start off by saying, they should continue this series.

I'm not a hardcore anime fan but I really enjoyed this series and it was a blast to watch. It was very light hearted at first bringing you into the universe of Trigun and then things go very serious with some really great philosiphies and outlooks as individuals, and as the human race as a whole. One of my favorite lines from the series I think was originaly said by Rem, but Vash used it as well; "The ticket to the future is always open."

The animation, voice acting, or music always seemed to be on par. It never seemed to take away from the experience and the soundtrack to this series was great in my opinion, I could only remeber one time the voice acting seemed a little sketchy.

All in all this series really brought me in and made me feel Vash's emotions. The experience as a whole was excellent. I even took away some different ways of thinking about problems and decsions we all make. If you spend any time with the series you will learn to always look for a better option to your problems, no matter how unlikely, and Vash's selfless acts were very moving making one of my first anime series a excellent experience. Five stars.

5A Classic . . .  Jun 16, 2009
A great series, despite starting a bit slow and having a sketchy ending. Definitely worth the coin.

1Trigun - Limited Collector's Edition I (With Steel Case) (2003) WARNING!  Jun 15, 2009
This is episodes 1 through 14 ONLY!!! If you want the other half, you have to buy Trigun - Limited Collector's Edition II (With Steel Case) (2003) which be an aditional $500 (I assume edition II is 15 through 26 I cannot confirm anything!) I am very angry that episodes were not listed by Amazon.com before I purchased it. In their defense, it was a 3rd party that was selling it through Amazon.com.
