NICE CD Aug 25, 2010 Includes 3 CDs (2 DVD and 1 CD). One DVD includes songs from 4 different concerts. The other DVD is a documentary one. The music CD includes more than 10 excellent Rammstein songs!
Over 2 hrs. of live Rammstein plus 1.5 hrs. of documentaries! Feb 15, 2010 Even if you already own the 'Live Aus Berlin' and 'Lichtspielhaus' DVDs, you should still buy this 1CD/2DVD package - for a number of reasons. The 'Live Aus Berlin' concert only featured songs from 'Herzeleid' and 'Sehnsucht' and the same goes for the live performances on 'Lichtspielhaus', with the exception of Links 2-3-4 and Ich Will. However, the performances found on the first DVD here feature 15 songs from 'Mutter' and 'Reise, Reise', the better pair of albums if you ask me. The full contents of disc one consist of 1 full-length concert and 6 concert highlights, as described below.
Live in Nimes, France on 7/23/05:

Los (Trailer)
'Olympiski Moscow' 5 min. special recorded on 11/28/04 in Russia
My favorite performance of all is Sonne at the Brixton Academy. Till Lindemann's vocals in particular are amazing. His performance is overflowing with passion and displays his singing voice just as good as a studio album. This footage contains many breathtaking shots of Till up close and a performance like this proves that there is more to a Rammstein show than just lights, smoke, and pyrotechnics (although those things are still used very often). Other highlights include Flake humping his keyboard during Rein Raus and dancing during Los (in France). Some of the band members are wearing costumes of sorts and others aren't, but all are shown at some point. Disc two is a 75 min. CD which is the same audio as the Nimes, France concert except that it omits Stein Um Stein, Rammstein, Ohne Dich, and Stripped in order to fit on a CD. The third disc is a bonus DVD, which features a one-hour documentary called 'Anakonda Im Netz' and a 25 min. look at the making of the album 'Reise, Reise'. All documentary footage and interviews are available with subtitles in 6 languages including English. The total running time of all 3 discs is 5 hours, making it well worth the price. However, even though I'm giving this 5 stars I do have one small complaint. I would have liked to have seen live performances of Mein Herz Brennt, Mutter, Adios, Nebel, Dalai Lama, Amour, and the classic Seemann. The exclusion of these songs, however, doesn't mean that the included songs aren't performed very well. What matters is that the live footage that is featured is amazing.
Rammstein Feb 05, 2010 I bought this as a gift for a Rammstein friend. He says this is a must for any fan of this music.
RAMMSTEIN VOLKERBALL FIRESHOW-OFF Jan 30, 2010 SOUNDTRACK A DISAPOINTMENT IN DOLBY DIGITAL. CROWD PARTICAPATION AWESOME. 5 STAR SHOW. 2 STARS FOR POOR SOUND IN DD. 3 STARS OVERALL.
Language / area issues ??? Jan 05, 2010 I have a recent SONY hdmi upscaling DVD player. I can't play this dvd in it, I get an error, having to do with area compatibility. On the actual encoding, it seems the language of this dvd is german, not english, and I've heard Sony players are picky about this. I don't think it's the format that's the problem, it's just 1 or 2 lines of text throwing a wrench in the works. I haven't yet tried it in other players, but will. Unfortunate, cuz this DVD player is in my movie room and is awesome for everything else.
Let me know if others are having same issue.
